Abstract

Estimation results of greenhouse gases emissions by the technology of preparation of effluents for use without their fractionation with a mechanical removal system at the pork production farm in the DP Gontarovka of the Kharkov region are given. The technology provides for the maintenance of animals in machines with a mechanical removal system. Manure is fed to the site for the preparation of organic fertilizers and is used in the future to fertilize farmland. The definitions showed that according to the effluents preparation technology for use without their fractionation with a mechanical removal system taking into account the gross energy consumed by animals on a pork farm with a population of about 870 heads in the Kharkov region, annual methane emissions per head in the CO2 equivalent were 448.559 kg per year, taking into account methane emissions, direct and indirect nitrogen emissions
