Abstract

The article presents the results of studying the productivity of apple-trees on seedling (M. silvestris) and medium-grown clonal rootstocks (M. 3). In non-irrigated gardens of Western forest-steppe and Polissya the rootstocks showed no difference as for their coming into fruit-bearing. The trees on seedling rootstocks dominated in productivity. Under non-irrigated conditions of Western forest-steppe and Polissya it is more rational to grow apple-trees on seedling rootstocks with intensive garden yields reaching 50-60 t/ha.
