ECONOMIC MECHANISM OF PROVIDING NATURAL ENVIRONMENT PRESERVATION IN ZHYTOMYR OBLAST

Ecological tax, rent for a special utilization of natural resources and penalties for the violation of nature preserving legislation requirements – are among the basic effective constituents of the economic mechanism of providing natural environment preservation in Zhytomyr oblast. 6871.8 thousand grv. were paid by the subjects of the economy within 2015 as ecological taxes, and 93.3 thousand grv. – as penalties. The specific weight of ecological payments in the structure of tax revenue into the oblast budget amounts 22.7%. The share of environment preservation expenses from the state budget amounted 12.6% in 2015 (69.1% in capital investments and 0.8% in current expenses), they were primarily utilized for purifying reverse waters and treating wastes
