Abstract

In recent years the problem of power quality has attracted the attention of many researchers, producers and consumers of electricity. The distortion of the supply voltage is a consequence of the non-sinusoidal current consumption. The deterioration of food quality occurs due to interference caused by transients (throws and sagging voltage, transients) and in the steady state (harmonic distortion, unbalance, flicker). The most negative impact on the electrical system are of low order harmonics (third, fifth, seventh). The paper proposes a solution to the problem of improving the electromagnetic compatibility of semiconductor converters by introducing into the power circuits converters of a controlled device and the formation of an appropriate control algorithm
