ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN UKRAINE: PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS FOR DEVELOPMENT

The article considers the main tendencies of the entrepreneuship development in Ukraine. The main reasons that the entrepreneurship development hamper are: the imperfection of legislation on the functioning of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as entrepreneurship in general; high taxes; lack of state financial and credit support of SMEs; lack of effective mechanism for implementing state policy in the field of business; imperfection of the accounting and statistical reporting system of SMEs; limited information and consulting support; imperfection of the system of training, retraining and professional development of personnel for entrepreneurship; lack of motivation for the investment.
