The paper represents results of investigation into the state of the photosynthetic apparatus of plants of the broad-leaved clover (Darunok variety) as well as the dynamics in changing the chlorophyll pigments content depending on fertilization and soil cultivation. It has been ascertained that the process of pigments biosynthesis in the plants of the broadleaved clover occurred more intensively at the beginning of the blooming period in the organicand-mineral fertilizing system with moderate rates of mineral fertilizers usage (manure 6.25 t/ha + (straw + N10 per ton) + green manure + N31P32K36 per 1 hectare of the crop rotation area) with the stubble-mulch tillage. The carotenoid factor was the highest (8.45) at this variant of investigations. It has been determined that the content of carotenoids, chlorophylls "a" and "b" was decreasing during the full blossom period in all variants of investigations. This fact indicates to the disturbance in the biosynthesis of green and yellow pigments
