Abstract

Were presented the analysis of the morbidity of the population during 1995-2015 and environmental and demographic aspects of land using during 1989-2015. on the Ukrainian part of the transboundary basin of the Dnieper river. It has been established that the most informative indicators of morbidity, significantly react to the violation of the integrity of the hydrogeoecosystem and as a result the pollution of the waters of the Dnipro Basin, there are manifestations of malignant tumors and the incidence of the urinary system of people. The ratio of newly registered cases of people with malignant neoplasms to the total number of resident population in the cities of the Dnieper basin during the observation period increased by 1.2-1.8 times. In the structure of cancer of the Ukrainian population, the greatest part was due to malignant neoplasms of the digestive organs – about 28%, of the genitals – to 21%. The incidence of the genitourinary system over the past 26 years has increased by 1.7 times. Studies have established that the load on the landscape of the Dnipro basin, which is determined by the agricultural development of the territory and the plowing of lands with increased "chemicalization" of agricultural production, whose products (chemical elements, biogenes, heavy metals and radionuclides) as a result of erosion processes accumulate in water bodies and fall from drinking water into the human body. This has a significant negative impact on the spatiotemporal trend of changing demographic indicators: an increase in mortality (r2 =0.51) and a decrease in the birth rate (r2 = 0.92) of the population. It has been established that it is possible to prevent the morbidity and mortality of the Ukrainian population only on the basis of introducing new methodological approaches to optimize the system of "society-nature" interaction, especially in the agricultural sector, which will ensure the effective protection of the hydrogeoecosystem as a result of the development and implementation of well-grounded soil and water protection geoinformation projects on the Dnipro Basin. This will reduce losses from intensive use of land, improve the quality of water resources and public health, and ensure the environmental sustainability of the hydrogeoecosystem of the entire transboundary basin
