THE EFFICIENCY OF COMBINED APPLICATION OF INSECTICIDES AND MICROELEMENTS AGAINST THE BLACK CURRANT BLOSSOM FEEDER (EPICOMETIS HIRTA PODA)
Abstract
Blossom feeder is the most wide-spread and harmful dominant blackcurrant phytophag. The population of the last exceeds the EIL (Economic injury level) in 1.5-2 times that considerably affects the plant productivity. The efficiency of ecological forecast concerning the approaching emergency phase in the phytophag development in accordance with the blackcurrant phenophases makes an instrumental in taking the timely protective measures using the insectoacaricides and microelements that provide the improvement of technical effectiveness in range of 86.5-91.0%. The yield of berries increases from 0.9 to 29 t/ha, net income grows up to 66911 hrn/ha and the energy efficiency ratio makes 1.53-1.90 units
