INFLUENCE OF THE TREATMENT OF SUNFLOWER PLANTS WITH GROWTH REGULATORS ON SOWING QUALITIES OF SEEDS DURING STORAGE
Abstract
The influence of the different plant growth regulators (RGP) on germination energy, laboratory germination and vigor of sunflower seeds during storage was studied. It is established that use of growth regulators during vegetation of plants under adverse hydrothermal conditions raises not only sunflower productivity, but also increases sowing qualities of seed material during long-term storage. Use of plant growth regulators contributes to an increase in germination energy and laboratory germination of seeds after storage within a year on average by 7.6 p.p. compared to control, with an essential increase of root and inflorescence vigor
